Community Acorns is an effective, delivery and achievement based practice specialising in the field of community work – in regeneration, development and participation. Based in North Yorkshire we are well based to work in communities in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Teeside – or thereabouts. Of course we are prepared to work throughout the UK and in Europe if required to do so.
Registered with Companies House as a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), Community Acorns is a Social Enterprise. We have firm social objectives and any trading surpluses are reinvested in the business or into the communities in which we work. These social objectives are in contrast to us been driven by the need, want or desire to maximise profit for owners or shareholders!
Community Acorns essentially consists of 2 partners, though when necessary – associates can be called upon to assist and manage our workload. Their expertise ensures that deadlines and quality are consistently achieved. This organisational structure allows our fee structure to be cost effective – which means that Community Acorns is an affordable resource for your community or organisations needs.
At Community Acorns we passionately feel that regeneration is really important and it is vital for needy communities that those who want to regenerate and/or those who are responsible get it right and where possible 'raise the bar of regeneration standards and aims'!

The Partners have a wealth of experience gained whilst living and working in West & North Yorkshire. The main areas of experience and expertise are broadly in the field of regeneration, community development and in the field of childcare, specialising in areas and communities suffering from deprivation.
We work with a variety of clients, in various ways, providing various levels and kinds of support all aimed at achieving solutions to identified need. Our attitude and approach is to ensure that the overall aim should be where possible to regenerate and build social capital within the community in a sustainable manner to enhance the communities longer term viability and success
